Broken foot means my lawyer is happy..

So this is me with my not so sexy broken foot.. I hate it so much I’m getting so restless not being able to go running. I still workout 3 times a week with my trainer at the gym but no cardio at least no running:(

My lawyer called me the other day he said we have some good news and some bad news.so I said lets start with the bad news. Well the bad news is that you are obviously hurt but the good news is that the driver that hit you have a very high insurance policy. Well as long as I can by myself a nice pair of shoes like a Louis Vuitton or something when this is over I will be happy, he said trust me if this goes the way I think you can buy more shoes than you can carry out to your car. Hm I like that answer..

So this is really bumming me out besides from going to work there is really not much I can do besides yes that’s right shopping! But without trying anything on of course because it takes forever to get this boot of my foot so I just buy it and take it home hopefully it fits if not I can always take it back. I must admit I have always been a big shopper but since my big commission check arrived I bought myself practically a whole new wardrobe. It sounds worse than it is but my own closet got to full that I had to take over one of our guest rooms closet. Hopefully we don’t get any guest for a while, just kidding!

So my Range Rover is back in the shop again, this time its something wrong with the water pump. Its not like I’m suffering I should not be complaining  I mean I do have another car and not a bad one a Mercedes S550. I did apply today to get a new Range Rover Sport 2010 hopefully it all goes well so that I can upgrade within a week or two. I guess one good thing that came out of this broken foot issue is that I got a disable parking permit!

I had a client that came in to look at one of our aircraft’s and he said wow what happened to your foot you poor thing?! So I said well I got hit from behind on 95 on my way home from work So he was so nice to me joking around and almost flirting a little bit.. So I said good bye and walk towards my car and than he said – Is that your car? I Sir it is… He said- Well than I don’t feel sorry for you smiling ..

So I found this book and its so cool, its called Luck the essential guide. This is what they say about  CACTUS that they thorns ward off the evil eye, and no house should be without one near the entrance!

True passion for True Religion Jeans

This is my newest True Religion Jeans, I am not sure how many jeans I have but I’m guess just  True Religion alone maybe 25-30 pairs..I know that’s kind of crazy but some of them are to big on me but I would never get rid of them I am way to attached to them.

So from one thing to another my Range Rover is finally fixed since the car accident and guess what yesterday I got a flat tire on 95! No big deal I just called AAA and they came out and helped me change it but I was running late already for work and we were suppose to fly of to Atlanta for a lunch meeting but luckily it got cancelled last minute.

Saturday I had an MRI scan on my foot since the accident I havent been able to really walk on it, I guess my lawyer is happy..just kidding!

You can never shop to much right..?!

I had such a great day today, I went running this morning at 6 am Í rushed over to the car dealer ship to pick up my work college Peter. I had a great day at work got a lot of things done, my boss is going out of town on Thursday so I had to get his plane ready plus all his travel needs.

5 pm sharp I was heading home when I got a phone call from my very good friend Carol she asked me if I would like to join her for a glass of wine and some appetizers  so of course I said yes! It was great seeing her, I had a burger and a glass of wine and she had the same thing. We decided that we were going to go shoe shopping…well surprise surprise I ended up coming home with allot of things but no shoes what so ever!

I went to Nordstrom and got some new True Religion jeans like I need that actually I do I need a smaller pair, size 24  :)

After that I went to lululemon and bought three great organic cotton tanks, I love that store!

Last but not least my favorite store Anthropology, we closed the store and my credit card came very handy I must say..:)

I have to go to bed now, I have a long day tomorrow and on Thursday I’m getting my Range Rover Fixed after the accident, finally  cant wait!

Facial and Massage at the Ritz

Valentines day… If you ask me its kind of strange or sad that they came up with a day called Valentines day.. I don’t know about you but its much nicer to get a gift when you least expect it.. Ok don’t take me wrong its always nice to get a gift but I guess its good for the stores and the spas etc…

So for this Valentines I’m going out for dinner at 7.30 at my favourite Italian restaurant, I got a massage and a facial booked at the Ritz tomorrow. I got a nice little present from my favorite store Louis Vuitton, this time I got a blue sort of denim oversize scarf. I have a few of there scarfs and I love them! I will take a picture of me wearing it, its so nice love it!

Oh I also got flowers delivered to my office witch was kind of sweet too:)

Private Jet for a meeting why not..?

So yesterday we had a last minute meeting, since we are in the private jet business it makes sense to use one of our air crafts to take us there.

This is the inside of the plane that was available for us to jump on, it was pretty nice and so convenient!

This is me frozen, cant believe how cold it can get in Florida! Ok maybe I should not be complaining since I am used to the snow in Sweden:)

So the meeting went well, we actually closed the deal so that was a nice payday… Since I am new I don’t get the full commission but still more than I made in Sweden in one year…But its over a 3 year term so don’t get to excited!

When we got back I hit rush hour traffic and with the bad weather that we were having it took me almost 2 hours to get home!

A story that should be told

Yesterday morning I was invited to my friend Carols house, she lives in this beautiful neighbour hood right on the golf course. Her husband is an excellent chef and bakes the most amazing cakes and home made bread that you can not stop eating. Every time i go there they feed me like crazy they even send food and cakes home with me:)

Me and Carol actually quit the same day we used to work at the same place and well needless to say we felt like it was time to move on so we did but we stayed friends and now she is one of my best friends. So with that said I don’t know much about her, working with somebody is not the same as hanging out drinking coffee together if you know what I mean.. She told me a story yesterday that gave me goosebumps…

I wish she could tell her stories herself in fact I told her that she should write a book. She married her high school sweetheart the one and only boyfriend she ever knew that had 2 kids a girl and a boy. They lived in a beautiful little house up in New York and life was so perfect, they were young 34 at the time both blessed with jobs and healthy children. All the sudden her husband started feeling sick, Carol of course started to do research bringing him in to different doctors nobody really knew what was going on with him until one day they received the news that it was ALS..

Carol stood by him treated him from home, watched him become weaker and weaker sitting in a wheelchair and one night he decided that it was time for him to go.. After the funeral she was busy taking care of her kids and working full time, her husband that had just passed away was a detective and his old colleagues stopped by all the time to help her out with the house. After about 3 years she started getting feelings for this guy one of the guys that actually used to work with her husband..His name was Tony and he had been her rock during this time always there for her helping her out etc..

So they fell  madly in love he moved in with her and the kids, they got engaged to get married she was finally back on her feet. Than the unbelievable happened 9/11.. Tony who also was a police officer was in a meeting that day right across the street when the first plane hit. Carol remembers she was at home watching  TV and looking at her phone waiting to hear from him well they never found him.. He went in to the 2 tower and the last time anybody saw him was on the 38Th floor when he gave his police jacket to a lady..

A few days later the search was over and they never found his remains, Carol was heartbroken to say at least they had a memorial service with big pictures printed of him but in her head he was going to walk in one day like nothing happened. Four month later when you think life cant get any worse her mother dies!  She said that if it wasn’t for her kids she would have stopped living.

A few years later she was invited by Tony’s police colleagues to a party and she went even though she really didn’t feel like it and there he was her new husband to be..she just didn’t know it at that time.. They met and he became her best friend for a very long time ,all she talked about was Tony until one day she decided to kiss him and that was it!

This girl is unbelievable she is funny,cute,successful and heart full of love, I really look up to her and I am so blessed to have her as my friend!

Car Crash yesterday coming home from work

Interesting 2 weeks I have had..First surgery and than a car crash on the high way 95. Yesterday I left earlie from work to pick my dog up from surgery he had to have surgery on his testicals poor boy:( As you all know around 5 pm 95 gets packed with cars specially so I left 15 min earlier so that I would be on time at the vet and not get in too much of a traffic.

So I was talking to my boss on my cell phone and I could see that the traffic was stopping a little bit further up so I started to slow down keeping a safe distance to the car in front of me..well the car behind me was not paying attention he came full speed around 55 miles/ 90 km crashed right in to my car! My cell phone flew right thru the window good thing I was wearing my seat belt! Smoke was coming out of his car and the airbags deployed.. To make a long story short ambulance came took me to the hospital were I spent the whole night getting cat scans,MRI,X Rays well you name it! So with that said my car is in the shop good thing I have a big Range Rover and I’m so sore had to stay home from work.

Personal injury lawyer has been contacted and I will be seeing him in about 2 hours, the police told me that the guy was charged of reckless driving and that I have nothing to worry about since I was hit from behind.

Butt crazy, hot grovepants!

So I was asked to do a print ad for this company that makes the best workout clothes in history! I love lululemon its the best ever clothes, not only functional but also very stylish and boy they make you look so good!  I had fever this day and hardly any makeup but who cares it was fun:)

Well I just thought I would write a little new post, I’m going shopping today for some new work clothes. I started this new job and I need to get some more pants and skirts and stuff so of course I need to go shopping:) After that I’m having dinner with a friend of mine:)

Race for the cure this morning was so much fun, 5 k of great inspiring people! After finishing the race I did 90 min of Yoga outside complimentary for the race. I came home around 2 and I cleaned up the house a little bit, mail everywhere and bills to pay.

Now its time to jump in the shower, the girls are going out tonight cant wait to see everybody!

Private healthcare what a dream

I hate to disappoint you guys but NO I did not have any beauty surgery and for your information surgery wise I have only had my breast enlarged and that was years ago 1998! Now everybody has there breast done so really its no big deal but for some reason when I had them done it was a huge deal. So this Monday my friend Pernilla picked me up at 6am, after checking in and making sure that Pernilla got her visit pass she took of to go to IKEA. There was really no point of her waiting around for me but I made sure she would get me some Swedish candy while she was there:)

It didn’t take long until one of the nurses came and got me and showed me to my own room with a nice window,tv, sofa etc.. Than a nurse came in and tried to put my Iv in but for some reason my veins were no where to be find so she had to try 3 times before she got it in and boy did that hurt. My hand was all swollen and its still very blue but who cares it could be much worse.

Surgery went extremely well I had a female surgeon who is ranked number 3 in the country to operate on me, I have really bad  Endometriosis so that’s why I had my had surgery no plastic surgery

After a day I was perfectly fine and home resting, or should I say running around because I am so restless and get bored easily.

So with this said I am extremely impressed with the health care system here in USA, YES I know its expensive to have private insurance and it doesn’t cover everything BUT at least you don’t have to pay over 50 percent in taxes and than you cant get help when you need to see a doctor or choose your doctor! I had my surgery 4 days later after seeing my doctor I thinks that’s unheard of in Sweden unless there is an emergency.. Than there is one more issue in Sweden, there is not many doctors who specialise themselves why would they I mean they still have to pay over 50 percent in taxes and than the student loans on top of that! Me personally I rather pay my own insurance and than choose my doctor but hey if you rather pay 35- 62 percent in taxes and than you cant get any help or see a specialist please be my guest:)( I just want to ad one more thing the taxes percent I am not sure of but this is what it used to be, it might have changed a little bit)

Tomorrow at 6 am is the race for the cure 5k and I am running it, wish me luck!
